Vector art (line art) can be scaled to any size while maintaining quality. File formats: eps, .ai, .pdf

Raster art (bitmap art) is composed of pixels (tiny squares) that are grouped together to make one complete image.  When enlarged, the image will look pixelated (or jagged).  If you submit art at 200 DPI (dots per inch) at the exact size of the imprint area, it might be acceptable. File formats: .tif, .psd, .eps, .pdf, .jpg

FONTS

Preserve the shape and style of your text by outlining, embedding or converting to curves. If the font is not outlined, embedded, or converted to curves, when artwork is opened on another computer, the font will be missing.  Then the computer will replace the font. However the replacement font will not match the original.
